Chartered accountant CA Foundation Course

Students who have passed their 10th final examinations or boards can enrol at this level. They must first register with the ICAI Board of Studies. They have until 60 days before the exam date to register for their foundation exams. However, they can only apply for CA Foundation after passing their 12th boards.

The foundation test includes objective and subjective questions, with 400 points distributed evenly across four subjects.

The disadvantage is that it also features a negative marking scheme. For the clearing, students must receive at least 50% of the marks.

Graduates and non-graduates from the commerce or non-commerce streams are eligible for direct entry.
