IELTS Exam Booking
You get three options to register for the IELTS exam.
Let's see them all in detail.
Option 1: Register online and pay the fees. Here's the process.
- Go to this website: www.ieltsidpindia.com.
- Select the "Register for IELTS" option.
- Choose your test date and city (you will see the available seats).
- Fill in an online application form.
- Finally, pay the exam fees using your valid credit card (Master or Visa are accepted).
Please note that you will see a confirmation on your screen once you register, which you might print and keep for future reference. The officials will also send you the proof in hard copy or email.
You also need to courier a photocopy of your passport's first and last pages and any observation pages to the IDP Head Office*. Failing to do so, you will not be allowed to write the test. Furthermore, you need to carry your passport on the test day.
Option 2: You can also register at any IDP branch or input node.
There are two methods for this.
Method 1:
- Register online using the branch's computer and pay the fees. Similar to online registration, you will get a confirmation of your seat.
- Submit your passport's first and last pages with any observation pages (optional).
- Sign the terms and conditions page and submit it after adequately going through each page.
- You will receive an instant acknowledgement letter, which confirms your test seat.
Method 2:
- Fill in a paper application form.
- Sign the terms and conditions document.
- Attach your passport's first and last pages with any observation pages (optional).
- Pay the test fees; you have various options for it.
- A valid credit card, debit card, or ATM card.
- Demand draft where the payee name must be "IDP Education India Private Limited, payable at New Delhi." Please note that you must make it at any bank listed in the terms and conditions document.
- Deposit cash in any ICICI bank branch through a customised ICICI deposit slip that you can download from the IDP IELTS website or collect from an IDP branch or input node. Please note that you must submit the customer copy of the slip at the branch or input node as proof of payment.
After payment, please request the staff to submit your application form in the online registration system, and give you the test booking and tentative seat reservation acknowledgement slip. Please see that if you have paid the fee by demand draft, your seat confirmation will be subject to its realisation.
Option 3: Finally, you can register by courier and pay the exam fees by demand draft, ICICI, or HDFC deposit.
Download or collect your form from IDP and do the following.
- Complete the application form.
- Sign the terms and conditions page and submit it after adequately going through each page.
- Submit your passport's first and last pages with any observation pages (optional).
