You saw that, right! Canada is certainly a treat for young explorers at heart. There’s no doubt why Canada has also quickly become one of the most popular destinations for higher studies among international students.

Canada is one such unique destination where studying, adventure, and tranquillity go together. The country promises to deliver unique experiences with an endless source of natural beauty!

The country is looked up to by students all over the world as a premier location for many, many reasons. The trendy lifestyle, the quality of their education system, acclaimed safety standards, affordable living, and so on make the Canadian flag fly high!

Apart from these factors, Canada makes it to the list of one of the world's best study destinations, with universities known for offering a wide range of courses with lesser tuition fees and a cosmopolitan campus environment. Additionally, a high employment rate and an option to acquire a permanent residency are some great exclusive perks!

The warm and welcoming nature of Canada's people adds a sense of comfort for those stepping foot into the country for the first time away from home.

With a total of 642,000 international students in 2019, it is evident that Canada's education contributes a lot to the students' improvement and personal development.

Preparing for the future is an exciting process! As a country, Canada has a lot to offer for prospective international students. Scroll through to know more about the benefits of Education in Canada!

Benefits of Canadian Education:

Canada's Technological Wave

The technological industries in Canada are growing massively big and are well built. To name a few, the communications industry, the digital media field, biotech services, and almost all engineering industries are booming by the day.

Canada is the first country that linked schools and libraries with the Internet, termed the ‘SchoolNet’ program. Through this program, nearly 90% of Canadian households are connected to the Internet. Wi-Fi is accessible virtually everywhere in the country.

Emergency Response Benefit

Education in Canada benefits international students in more ways than one. The Canadian education system has increased work duration from 20 hours to 40 hours in some occupations.

The Canadian Government has also opened up the Canada Emergency Response Benefit, which offers $2,000 per month for students.

Emergency Student Benefit

Education in Canada has stepped up to show how much the country cares and supports its students by implementing the Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB). The CESB is designed to provide employment and financially support the students who are paying off student loans.

The CESB will also support the students and new graduates who are not eligible for Employment Insurance or cannot work due to COVID-19. CESB provides $1,250 per month for eligible students. Students with dependents or disabilities will be offered $2,000 per month through this scheme.

Mental Health Support for Youth

Canada extends its help to students who are unable to cope up during these difficult times. To ease stress and anxiety, the Canadian Government has funded $7.5 million towards mental health awareness during COVID-19.

Part-time and Post Study work rights

A post-graduation work permit (PGWP) allows you to stay in Canada and work full time for up to three years after graduation. Usually, online courses do not count as a study requirement for a PGWP application.

Due to the ongoing pandemic situation worldwide, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have taken a step ahead in allowing international students to study online. Also, International students can work part-time in Canada while studying.
