SAT Exam goes Online - will be Shorter covering a wide range of topics

The SAT exam originally called the Scholastic Assessment Test has gone through a lot of changes over the years. Now it is redefined to be shorter and to host more topics and calculators will be allowed during the math evaluations. International students will now have an opportunity to try out for seven instances instead of five. As per the College board announcement SAT Assessments will be now offered Online. The digital transformation of SAT exams will be more suitable for current students and the assessments will be easier to take and submit. The duration of SAT is now shortened to two hours instead of three hours.
These newer changes make the assessment process easier, whereas the college board report says - instead of a week’s time frame, the results will be out in a few days making it faster than the previous methods. The reading passages are becoming lesser length touching more subject regions and also you can now use Calculators for the whole mathematics stretch.
The present initiatives are to encourage more students and to be more accessible across various boards - whereas for a student, the increased opportunity can be of great help to attain better marks. This SAT program commences digitally in early 2023 for international medium and in the US by 2024. As per the College board’s statement, The format aligns with what students are now used to and excelling at, which is digital learning. As schools across the world rely on technology to educate, it only makes sense for the SATs to make the transition to digital.
The test is more secure, as each student will receive a unique test and it will be practically impossible to share answers. 80% of students found the test to be less stressful and 100% of educators reported having a positive experience with the new format.
