Enquiry on Results (EOR) costs around INR 13,500 for standard tests and up to INR 13,700 for UKVI, including the IELTS rechecking fees. You must apply for a recheck within six weeks after your test date. Here's how:

  2. Completion and Submission: Specify which parts of the exam you want checked again (Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking). Then pay the fee of INR 13,500 (or applicable amount).
  3. Processing Time: It usually takes up to 2-21 days for the review process.
  4. Outcome: If your score changes, the rechecking fee will be refunded to you, and you will receive a new Test Report Form (TRF). If the score remains the same, the fee is non-refundable.

As part of the IELTS exam fees in India, an administrative charge is applicable for rescheduling an IELTS test. This charge is currently INR 4,500 (standard) or INR 4,550 (UKVI). Consult with your test centre to find out the exact fees for that centre in case of rescheduling.

Steps for Applying for a Reschedule:

  • Contact your testing centre or log in to your portal immediately.
  • Select a new test date. Be aware that you must typically request this at least 5 weeks before your original date to avoid treating it as a cancellation.
  • Pay the transfer fee of INR 4,500.
  • Ensure that you receive an affirmation of the dates for your rescheduled test.

IELTS Exams Retake Fees 2025

If you are thinking about taking another IELTS exam because of low scores, it is important to know about the costs.

  • Full Test Retake: There is no "discounted" fee for retaking the full exam. If you need to retake the entire test to improve your overall band score, you will have to pay the full standard fee of INR 18,000 again.
  • IELTS One Skill Retake (New Feature): If you did not perform as well as you hoped in just one section of the test (Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking), you may not need to retake the full exam.
    • Eligibility: You must have taken the IELTS on Computer test and received your results. You must book the One Skill Retake within 60 days of your original test.
    • Fee: The fee for the IELTS One Skill Retake in India is approximately INR 12,000.
    • This feature allows you to save money and time compared to sitting for the full 4-module test again.

Before you decide to retake, reviewing your previous results is vital. Every retake is an opportunity to get scores that will satisfy your academic or immigration ambitions.

IELTS Exam Fee for Additional Test Report Form (ATRF)

The procedure for getting an ATRF involves submitting the request online.

  • Electronic Score Reporting: The first 5 electronic reports to universities are usually free if requested at the time of booking. For additional electronic reports later, a small fee (approx. INR 250 - INR 300 per university) may apply.
  • Physical Courier: If you need hard copies sent via international courier, the fee is approximately INR 1,500 per address.

The ATRF is particularly useful for those candidates who apply to multiple educational institutions or different immigration bodies.
