Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Course Highlights

You may pick an arts course that matches your passion, or consider the field in which you want to work, such as journalism, translation or the government, once you graduate. Most BScs extend your job prospects rather than being restricted — companies look highly at liberal arts, since they train you to be open-minded and analytical. They are not restricted. And you can develop skills for your work later on.

A liberal arts institution in the United States provides a broader approach to higher education, and economic, international, and political science courses are covered in social sciences. Most studies in the humanities are not practical but theoretical — they are matters of 'thinking.' You should check into creative and design courses that can lead to a profession as a designer, author, or artist if you enjoy the "doing," creative side of the arts.
