University of Salford: Admission Process

Admissions are made between January and September. The following steps are included in the University of Salford admissions process:

1. You can apply for graduate/postgraduate courses at the institution online.
2. You must submit all supporting documentation and fill up the form information.
3. High school/Bachelor's degree applications can be submitted through UCAS.

The following are the entry criteria at the University of Salford:

1. IELTS 6.0 is required for both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
2. IELTS of 4.5 or above for the International Foundation Year.
3. Undergraduate programmes demand 50-65% on average, whereas postgraduate programmes require 55% on average or 50% with job experience.

(i)Eligibility Criteria

The university has qualifying criteria that vary by country. The following are the prerequisites for Indian students applying to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes:

(iii)Acceptance Rate

The admittance rate at the University of Salford is 63%. The University has four schools and provides undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and professional degrees. It also partners with 16 of the world's finest institutions. Postgraduate, undergraduate, and foundation courses are available. Biology, chemical sciences, biomedical science, zoology, physics, wildlife, and marine biology are all popular subjects.

(iv)Accommodation

All first-year students are guaranteed a place in University housing if they apply by the deadline, with Constantine Court and Horlock Court being on campus, while all other accommodation is a short distance away and a free campus bus service is offered during term time.

Horlock has en-suite homes with 13 pupils, whilst Constantine Court has houses with 12 students. Just off campus, the student village comprises 11-bedroom homes or 6-bedroom apartments, all with communal kitchens and toilet amenities.

University of Salford Scholarships

International students must pay tuition prices ranging from GBP 14,400 (INR 14.40 lakh) to GBP 16,740 (INR 16.74 lakh) for undergraduate programmes, while postgraduate students must pay tuition costs ranging from GBP 11,340-18,990 (INR 11.34-18.99 lakh).

In addition to tuition, students need a budget of at least GBP 9,207 (INR 9.20 lakh) each year for living expenses. The monthly cost might be approximately GBP 1,023 (INR 1.02 lakh).
