GMAT Exam Eligibility

GMAC has stated that the minimum age limit to appear for the exam is 18 and above. Any student below 18 willing to take the exam must get a consent letter from their parents. Also, there is no upper age limit for aspirants; hence, graduated students and working professionals also can sit for the GMAT exam and benefit from it.
There is only one language in which the GMAT exam is conducted: English. Since the standard form of conducting the exam is in English, there are not any other regional languages used for the same.
On the GMAT official website www.mba.com, it has been pointed out that MBA aspirants should have a minimum of two years of work experience. But an average MBA aspirant will have two to five years of work experience.
But on the other hand, the website also says that “work experience” is not the sole predictor of an application’s success.
It clearly mentions that an exceptional GPA, an outstanding GMAT score, and self-learned data analysis skills can equal the absence of professional work experience. It also adds an essential point that outside work activities like hobbies, extracurricular activities and community service involvement can strengthen students’ MBA applications.
